Posted: 3 Days ago Lordship Stud is a leading, privately owned Stud located just a few miles from Newmarket that has been producing racehorses for over 100 years. Due to retirement, Lordship Stud are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Stud Groom to join our dedicated team. The applicant must have extensive experience working as a Stud Groom or in a similar position. Multiple years' experience foaling mares is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive and hands-on with a high attention to detail. They will be required to undertake all the usual general stud duties including day to day care of circa 20 broodmares and their yearlings and foals, managing land, paddocks and machinery, liaising with vets and keeping accurate records. The successful candidate will live on site in a modern, 4 bedroom house overlooking paddocks. Excellent salary, generous pension scheme and private medical cover.
