Private yard with 3 sport horses (3-year-old mare, 5-year-old gelding and 10-year-old mare) who are all in work.
Horses are well handled and well behaved. Extensive paddocks and grounds support round the year turnout and riding in or out in Otmoor. Facilities will include a private menage by year-end.

Owners seek a self-motivated and organised individual to assist with daily yard duties, horse care and regular paddock maintenance.
Help needed 8-30-11:30 for 5-6 days a week, with time off over the weekend (exact hours can be adjusted, if needed).
Must be confident around younger horses and willing to work alone or with owners as a team.

Riding skills are a bonus but not essential – for the right candidate, riding / exercising opportunities will be available.

Minimum daily duties include

  • Turn-in and turn-out
  • Grooming and rugging
  • Muck-out of stables/ poo-picking fields
  • Feeding   
  • Tack care
  • Field maintenance as required (e.g., maintenance of water troughs, fencing, paddocks)

Salary dependent on experience.
Accommodation is not provided on site. May be willing to accommodate groom’s horse on grass livery after period of probation.
