Head Person / Assistant Trainer

Tom Ellis Racing is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Person / Assistant Trainer to join our expanding National Hunt team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, reliable and capable individual to take on a key role within a progressive racing operation.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the smooth and efficient running of the yard, with duties including:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the yard
• Supervising staff and effectively delegating daily tasks
• Regularly attending race fixtures
• Communicating professionally with owners
• Working closely with the trainer and wider team to ensure the horses are prepared and cared for to the highest standard

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in a professional racing yard
• Organised, responsible and able to lead a team
• Hardworking with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
