Posted: 8 Days ago Lordship Stud is a privately owned Stud located just a few miles from Newmarket that has been producing racehorses for over 100 years. The stud has bred multiple Classic and Group 1 winners. We are looking for an experienced Stud Hand to join our small, professional team on a full time, long term basis. The desired candidate should be enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with world class bloodstock. The position will start after the breeding season (May/June). Previous experience of working with Thoroughbreds is essential. The position will involve working with pregnant mares, young foals and yearlings on a daily basis. Experience showing foals / yearlings desirable. General yard duties constitute a significant part of the job role. Experience with hand held machinery as well as tractor driving would be preferable though not essential. Very competitive salary with opportunities for further education and career development.
