This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international stud farm with division in both Kentucky and Newmarket. You will work with state of the art facilities and high class bloodstock, in recent years being the breeders of Gr.1 winners Nashwa and Hotazhell.

Skills:

  • Experience handling young stock is required
  • Experience working at the sales would be an advantage
  • Horsebox driving experience preferred but not essential
  • An understanding of the thoroughbred and breeding industry is a benefit

Daily duties include (but not limited to):

  • Horse handling, leading and grooming
  • Sales/training preparation
  • Routine daily checks of the horses on the farm
  • Mucking out
  • Assisting with the Vet or Farrier as required
  • Some flexibility around days at the sales is essential
