Posted: 12 Days ago Kirtlington Stud are looking for an enthusiastic Stud Hand to join our small, professional team in the heart of Oxfordshire. We are an established boarding stud with over 30 permanent boarding mares and youngstock, seasonal boarding mares and horses out of training. Stud Hand duties include daily horse care, assisting with vet and farrier visits, general yard duties and stud maintenance. As part of an experienced team you will also assist with foaling, sales preparation and attending the sales. We are seeking candidates with stud experience and confidence in handling youngstock. Location Kirtlington Stud is on the edge of the Cotswolds, situated between Oxford and Bicester and just off the A34 and M40. The village is in walking distance and there are options for public transport including direct trains to London and Oxford. Newbury and Cheltenham Racecourses are within reasonable driving distance.
