The British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre are looking for a full time Stable Staff member to live on site at the Centre in Lancashire, UK. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable and passionate about Thoroughbred welfare who is experienced and competent in all aspects of yard duties such as mucking out, feeding, turning out, grooming etc. Experience of handling challenging horses is preferred but not essential. The job is 40 hours per week working alternate weekends Minimum wage with opportunities for promotion and staff CPD (BTRC encourage/pay for staff to carry out training courses such as BHS stages etc.) The onsite accommodation is free of charge on the arrangement you conduct night checks on your working days.
