Hi! My name is Fran and I am a freelance groom working in the Cumbria area. I can help you with all kind of things, from holiday cover for your horses, to exercising horses through riding, long reining or lunging and groundwork. I am confident riding most types of horses from youngsters to seniors and I am small enough to ride ponies (I weigh less than 8 Stone).
Whilst my main services are stable relief and livery help, I am also confident using groundwork to establish boundaries with horses and to teach manners. I am also confident using natural horsemanship, r+ training, and traditional methods for training and can work to your preferences.
I have years of experience of loaning and owning horses, and have brought on and trained my own horse.
My prices are; 15 per hour for basic yard duties (mucking out, hay nets, skipping out, poo picking etc) and 20 per hour or 15 half hour for exercising horses or training.
I also offer optional extras for free like a photo sent to you of your horse tucked up in their clean stable/field after I have finished working with them.
I have personal grooms insurance.
