FREELANCE GROOMS

I am a 28 year old Freelance Groom providing mobile groom and livery services in and around the North West, Cheshire and Derbyshire borders. I have owned and ridden horses since I was six years old and have had various experiences from caring for my own and others, riding, and grooming at shows, including showing my own. During my lifetime with horses I have handled horses of all ages, characters, sizes and capabilities, I've also provided end of life care. My capabilities range from caring for horses, schooling, hacking, breaking to drive and re-training youngsters. I have experience handling Arabian horses from foals upwards.

For me, I will treat your horses as if they are my own; with a nurturing and safe approach providing a care like no other where your horse(s) feel safe and comfortable in my presence. I am naturally a quiet, gentle person who will be firm but kind when needed without causing a stressful atmosphere. I believe in creating a calming environment wherever I go to ensure you the peace of mind that your horse(s) are extremely well looked after when you cannot be there.

Services offered (but not limited to):
- Full Livery (Mucking out, turning out/bringing in, haynets, morning/evening feeds, applying or administering medications).
- Field Maintenance (Poo-picking, ragworting, weeding, fence fixing).
- Grooming, bathing, trimming.
- Schooling (Riding, in-hand work, lunging).
- Hacking (Must have safe local access, horse must be safe out - happy to discuss training to hack out if horse is green on the roads/bridleways).
- Rug changing.
- Clipping.
- Full yard cover or individual horse cover.
- Holiday cover.
- Appointment cover (Farrier, Vet, Dentist, Physio etc).
- Individual needs can be met and adapted to the above list.
