Established in 1952, HorseWorld Trust is a registered charity that is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses, ponies and donkeys in need. Our farm is located between Bristol and Bath and we are today responsible for over 300 equines, including around 100 on-site. Our Welfare Yard is home to all of our new arrivals, including sick, neglected and traumatised horses and ponies. It is here that our team of dedicated staff concentrate on their care and rehabilitation and work towards their being re-homed. We also run a ground-breaking educational programme called Discovery, which helps children and young people with physical, emotional and behavioural difficulties through hands-on activities with some of our rescued horses, ponies and donkeys. This is a new role within the equine welfare team to help support the rehoming process to enable equines on site at HorseWorld to be rehomed. You will need up-to-date equine knowledge, strong communication skills and a full and valid UK driving licence. This is a full time role including working alternate weekends, with a regular day off in the week, from 8.30am to 4.30pm. For more details and to apply for this role please download the Role Profile and Person Specification and Application Form from our website www.horseworld.org.uk/jobs or ring 01275 893035 for a postal application.
