Posted: Less than 1 day ago We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Travelling Groom to work within our current travelling team at our successful dual-purpose yard in the Midlands. The successful candidate needs to have a full driving license (clean preferred) and be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes. You will be required to drive a 3.5T horsebox. Previous experience/ relevant qualifications for travelling horses would be desirable. The ability to take responsibility and work well under pressure, as well as turning horses out to a high standard is very important. Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends as/ when required to cover race days. The successful candidate will be required to ride out when not racing, so we are looking for someone who is a also a confident and capable rider with relevant previous experience. Every other weekend and Thursday afternoon off. Competitive wages, pension, racing expenses and pool money bonuses. Excellent single accommodation package available, sorry no pets allowed.
