Cousland Park Livery yard is situated between the villages of Ormiston and Cousland and in a beautiful rural location in close proximity to Edinburgh. With first class facilities and staff, clients are given the highest of professional standards of service and care for their horse. Cousland Park livery is currently looking for a new full time Yard Manager who will maintain and improve on the high standard that has been developed over the years. They shall be responsible for the day to day running of the yard, liaising with both existing and prospective new liveries. They will also take charge of a small team of staff to motivate and direct the schedule of tasks. Duties will include the care and well-being of the horses, staff recruitment, management and staff training, all aspects of yard work and paddock maintenance, maximising the utility and profitability of the indoor and outdoor arenas and the health and safety of everyone on the yard. The successful candidate shall be experienced in managing a yard with a wide range of horses and owners, have excellent people skills, be self-motivated, physically fit and hard working.
